The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) has suspended the broadcasting and distribution of the song “Mukube Paver” by Dynaso Wegoso. The regulator stated that the decision followed multiple public complaints and a content review that found the song to promote and glorify violence.

UCC directed all radio stations, television broadcasters, internet service providers, and online platforms to immediately stop sharing the track. Authorities also raised concern about its influence on young people, especially on social media platforms where related challenges were spreading.

The commission warned that all media houses must comply with content regulations or risk penalties under Uganda’s communication laws.
